Sharnay Photography · Pilot implementation

El Encuadre

Decide what should lead.

El Retrato helped us understand the practice. El Revelado showed what was already there. El Encuadre turns those findings into decisions about what should grow, how the experience should feel, and what is worth building.

01 · What we’re deciding

Not everything needs to hold the same place.

Working direction

Weddings

The strongest current candidate to become Sharnay’s commercial priority. Existing investment in the wedding experience — including the album system — makes this direction worth validating.

To define

Personal branding / portraits

Treat this as a real paid offer rather than allowing commercial photography to blur into informal model work.

Working rule

Creative collaborations

Unpaid work should be intentional. If a project is not paid, Sharnay should be able to name the strategic or creative value it receives in return.

02 · The experience

The brand happens before, during, and after the photograph.

Know something real before the session

One useful fact about the person can help Erika connect more deeply, direct with more intuition, and create an experience that feels personal from the start.

Know → Connect → Direct → Better experience

Derived from El Retrato. One useful fact — not a giant questionnaire.

03 · What Sharnay should protect

Three commitments.

  1. Personal, not performative

    Sophistication should never create distance.

  2. Guided, not managed

    The client should feel accompanied.

  3. Received, not delivered

The photos, the gallery, and the album should feel like the culmination of something.

04 · What’s already becoming real

What the frame is already making possible.

Visual system

The consistent language already built for how Sharnay presents itself.

Sharnay Album System — editorial wedding album studio interface with open spread and design controls

Sharnay Wedding Album Studio

One of the first tangible expressions of the experience: the album stops being a generic deliverable and becomes part of how the story is received.

El Retrato — portrait concept

Know the person before the session

A lightweight application of El Retrato’s logic to the client experience. Still becoming form.

“Now we can hear what was already there.”

05 · What we do next

Now we make the decisions real.

Define the business

Decide what leads, what is paid, what is collaborative, and how pricing should work.

Design the journey

Choose the client moments where Sharnay can create the biggest difference.

Apply the system

Bring the visual, verbal and experience principles into the website, communication, delivery, albums and future tools.
